New patients who have PPO insurance plans may opt to utilize out-of-network benefits. In such cases, services rendered may be eligible for partial reimbursement under the out-of-network benefit option. To facilitate the processing of out-of-network claims, Dr. Cheng will provide patients with a statement, commonly known as a SUPERBILL, which includes all necessary information for submission to their insurance company.

A SUPERBILL is a statement generated by healthcare professionals that enables clients to seek retroactive reimbursement directly from their health insurance. This document includes the client's essential demographic information, the date of service, a description of services rendered, diagnosis code(s), the CPT billing code (and quantity of units), and relevant provider information.
