I am a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical supervisor in California with 15+ years of clinical training and experience. I obtained my Ph.D. from UCLA.
I was trained at UCLA Medical Center, serving children, teenagers, and adults in intensive-outpatient programs. I have both clinical and research experience in parenting interventions, helping families support their children’s emotions and behavioral development.
In recent years, my work has been focused on forensic treatment for teenagers and adults with impulse control disorders and compulsive sexual behaviors, many of whom had significant trauma history and depression. I have held positions as a Senior Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor in this work.
You will find a list of research-backed psychological interventions that I use in my practice. At the same time, my role is also to collaborate and foster strengths in each person I work with. I believe therapy should focus not only on improving symptoms, but also on improving quality of life, relationships, empowerment, and agency.
